You know when the snooty people at the dinner party ask Jack Dawson where he lives and he tells them that his current address is the RMS Titanic? That’s basically me.
The truth is, I long to be in two places at once. In a familiar bed, curled up with my dog. In a city I’ve never been to, blanketed with streets I can’t name. I want to wake up and pour home brewed coffee into the same mug. I want to spend each morning taking in a different sunrise. I want the taste of my favorite meal at the restaurant where they know my name and order, and I want to dine with menus I don’t know how to read.
Right now I’m a perpetual traveler, living a lot of my life in the in-betweens of train stations, bus stations and airports, with my laptop and a carry on bag that usually leaves me ill-equipped for the weather. You can find daily writing on my Instagram where I microblog my journey.
Here's the important stuff: I’m the former social media manager and staff writer of TheEverygirl.com. These days I’m a freelance writer with a background in women’s lifestyle content, and pen a weekly e-newsletter thats kind of like sitting down together over a glass of wine. Only, you're all reading it in your respective homes and chances are I'm on a friend's couch or in a youth hostel feeling decidedly youthless. Hopefully we all leave feeling a little more inspired, and a little more hopeful. So yeah, it's exactly like wine.
I’ve also written web copy for brands like 7 for All Mankind, Splendid LA and ABC Carpet & Home because I’m well rounded like that.
